Things are gettin' shaken up for the kingdom. This year has been foundational as we've been building teams, creating healthy structures and systems, and working tirelessly to preach the Gospel and yield to the Kingdom of God in our midst.

I really, really, really believe God is stirring us up for 2024 to be a year of supernatural impact in and around our church. Pray with me as we walk into the new year - that God would use us to invite outsiders into the Love of the Father.

I also want to give a hearty thank you for all you have done and are doing to support and sustain the Mission God has laid on us as a community.

Love you guys,

This year was jam-packed with so much good stuff! It's impossible to list all of it here, but here are some of the highlights.

We deepened our longstanding affiliation with the Vineyard movement, and took the meaningful step of changing our name to Riverstone Vineyard Church. This step represents our ongoing dedication to the Vineyard's values and mission.

We had 30-40 people show up every week this summer! They explored faith, had honest conversations, and heard the Gospel.

In 2023, we witnessed 25 declarations of faith in Jesus. As we step into 2024, we have a vision for that number to grow even greater. Please join us in prayer for lives to be transformed and for many more to enter the Kingdom this year.

Many of you answered the call, and stepped up to lead in exciting ways. We are deeply grateful for your willingness to serve and contribute your talents.

This year also marked the bittersweet departure of Scott, who gracefully transitioned into retirement after 30+ years of ministry. Words cannot fully express our gratitude for his dedication and faithful service to this church. (We are planning a retirement party for him soon. shhhh don't tell him)

We expanded our small group offerings in 2023. We started Life Groups, along with our traditional Groups. Groups are focused on spiritual formation, while Life Groups are focused on an activity.

We hope to offer even more this year!

We baptized 25 people last year, and this year, we're going for twice that number! We're aiming for at least 50 baptisms, not just for the numbers, but because we see God moving and want to be part of it. Please join us in praying for people to feel Jesus' pull and follow Him!

We had a faithful crew of kids show up every week this summer! They explored faith, worshipped, had honest conversations, and heard the Gospel. This year we plan to expand and invest in Next Gen. ministry in substantial ways. More to come  on that front!

This year we hope to continue to steer our hearts towards an outward focused Christianity;  A faith that includes us meeting the needs of our local community.

We say we value prayer - but we want to push into this, not simply as a value, but as a practiceWe will increasingly emphasize and create space for us to receive prayer during Sunday mornings. We have also have added a Sunday night service devoted solely to prayer. Join us!

Thank you for giving so generously to your church last year. The graph shows our project budget and what we actually spent last year. We could not do any of this without you. We're so thankful to have so many of you partner with us in Declaring and Delighting in the Beauties of Jesus.
