So you want to grow more in your relationship with Jesus?
Growth in relationships takes time and effort. The more time we spend with someone, the better we get to know them. Jesus wants His followers to be like Him, which means spending time with and learning from Him. One of Jesus' last commands to his followers was to "make disciples" throughout the earth.
Part of your Christian journey is coming alongside those who've walked the road before you and learning from them – becoming a disciple. We're all in process and soon, you'll be discipling others who are just starting their own walks with Jesus!

As you begin to grow in Christ, there will be some things to learn from those who've gone before us. The Bible encourages us to "stand firm and keep a strong grip on the teaching we passed on to you both in person and by letter." (2 Thess. 2:15 NLT). In other words, there is a way of growing in Christ learned and passed on by His earliest disciples.
